About CRITMET 2025

The present world is highly dependent on higher-value products that use a growing number of elements previously utilized in limited quantities and are now renamed as critical elements. These critical elements are used in renewable energy, defense, consumer electronics, etc are concentrated in a few geographic locations or recovered as a by-product of a different processing chain owing to the geological association. CRITMET 2025 underpins the need to discuss and share the latest developments or technological advancements in critical mineral availability, extraction methodologies, and meeting the demand by recycling, and their applications. This conference aims to attract researchers from across the world to communicate and share the latest developments in these surfacing and ever-expanding fields. With India launching the National Critical Mineral Mission in 2025, the meet will be very pivotal in shaping national and international partnerships in this niche area. Commemorating seven prosperous decades of CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory, Jamshedpur, India in the area of minerals, metals, materials and environmental research; we propose to hold CRITICAL METALS CONGRESS (CRITMET 2025) on 6-8 November, 2025 at our campus strategically located at JAMSHEDPUR, the STEEL CITY OF INDIA, next to the promenade of TATA STEEL, and amidst several mining and metallurgical fraternities and companies.
